I found a nice collection of U.S. History Study Guides and Teachers' Guides at a site called Shmoop. These are study tools for students and teachers of high school, AP, or college level history courses. They are fun-to-read and provide analyses written by Stanford and Berkeley Ph.D. and Masters students. It is worth checking out.
Here are some samples:
- Spanish Colonization,1492-1848
- Intellectual Roots of the American Revolution
- Louisiana Purchase: Haitian Revolution to Lewis & Clark
- Jim Crow in America
- Progressive Era Politics
- History of the NFL
